Andy Kempe: Élményszerű tanulás a drámán keresztül – Workshop

Please scroll down for English description

Intenzív workshop Andy Kempe angol drámás szakemberrel a Nyitott Kör szervezésében gyakorló drámatanárok számára.

Időpont: 2019. Április 5-7. (péntek-vasárnap)

Elsősorban a 11-15 éves korosztályt tanító, drámás előképzettséggel rendelkező tanárok számára ajánljuk a kurzust, akik 45 és 90 perces órák keretében használják a drámapedagógia módszertanát saját gyakorlatukban. A kurzus egésze alatt kétnyelvű tolmácsolást biztosítunk.

A kurzusvezető:
Andy Kempe a drámapedagógia emeritusz professzora. A 11-19 éves korosztályt tanította 10 éven át, mielőtt a Readingi Egyetemen (Egyesült Királyság) tanárokat kezdett képezni. 40 éves drámapedagógiai karrierje során Andy számos olyan nemzetközileg is ismert drámás szakértővel dolgozott szoros együttműködésben mint Jonathan Neelands, Cecily O’Neill, John O’Toole, David Hornbrook, Helen Nicholson.

A kurzus programja:

A kurzus résztvevői részletes jegyzetet kapnak a műhely minden szekciójáról.
A szekciók egymásra épülnek. A kurzus létszámkorlátja: 25 fő.

A kurzus órarendje:

Péntek (04.05.)
15.00–17.30 – 1. szekció
„Az eltűnt lány”
Egy kamasz lány eltűnt. Miért? Hova ment?

„Kezdd onnan, ahol tartasz”
Mik a dráma alap összetevői?

A jó drámák középpontjában mindig valamilyen emberi dilemma áll.

A szervezőkről:

Learning through experiential drama

Dates: from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th April 2019

Intense workshop with Andy Kempe English drama in education expert, organized by Nyitott Kör (Open Circle) Theatre in Education Company for practicing drama teachers. Primarily we suggest the course for teachers who already obtained training of drama in education and are practicing drama with 11-15 years olds in 45 and 90 mins sessions. There will be English-Hungarian translation all along the course.

The course leader:
Andy Kempe is Emeritus Professor of Drama Education. He taught students aged 11 – 19 in secondary schools for ten years before becoming a teacher trainer at the University of Reading, UK. He has written more than 20 books and almost 80 chapters and articles on a wide range of aspects of drama in education. In his 40 year career as a drama educator Andy has worked closely with practitioners such as Jonathan Neelands, Cecily O’Neill, John O’Toole, David Hornbrook, Helen Nicholson and many other leading experts in the UK and around the world.

The course programme:
Andy Kempe is noted for the way his work blends two different traditions and styles of drama education. Devotees of process drama focus on giving young people a dramatic experience to help them explore issues. Theatre arts teachers are keen to teach their students what the art form of drama is and how they can master its techniques. Andy draws on process drama techniques to engage students emotionally but ensures they understand how their experience is being crafted in order to, ultimately, give them a conscious ownership of the way the drama is being made and performed. Having spent his whole professional life involved with the teaching of drama in schools, he is aware of the need to design sequences of drama lessons that can fit into the constraints of a school timetable and fit curriculum requirements.

Participants in the course will be given detailed notes on each of the separate workshops.
Sections of the course are built on each other. We limit the number of participants in 25 applicants.

Timetable of workshops:

Friday 5th
15.00-17.30 – session 1: ‘A Gone Girl’
A teenage girl has gone missing. Why? Where has she gone? Will she be found? This engaging process drama works like a thriller to explore a disturbing social phenomena.

What are the basic ingredients of drama? How can young people be introduced to them in order to create work that reflects their own lives?

Using Martin Niemoller’s famous poem ‘First they came for the Jews’, this session will explore how drama can be used to explore difficult human aspects of history.
11.50-13.00 – session 4: ‘First They Came For…’ – part 2
14.00-16.00 – session 5: ‘Gergo’s Alien Adventure’
